The inaugural production of BottledSnail’s The Law Revue debuted at the 2013 Melbourne International Comedy Festival. The Herald Sun gave it 4.5 stars, calling it a “must see”, while other reviewers praised the “talented cast”, “satirical skits”, and ”cracking pace and comic timing”. Audiences flocked to the event, selling out the RMIT Capitol Theatre on opening night.

The Law Revue was performed by the following amazingly talented people:
Alex Finemore |
Josh Glanc |
Kathryn Sutherland |
Ben Strate |
Prani West |
Athol Birtley |
Laura Hartmann |
Bruce Hardy |
Katherine Copsey |
They were beaten into shape by a directing team comprising Max Paterson, Jacqui Pitt, and Oliver Waters, and supported by additional writers Ed Consett, Lachlan Harrison-Smith, Daniel Kinsey and Robin Smith.
The show was produced by Sarah Zeleznikow and James Kearney, with marketing and publicity coordination from Lauren Edwards. Robin Smith was in charge of tech (supported by Daniel Kinsey), and Athol Birtley and Annabel Pitt did a whole bunch of graphic design.
BottledSnail would like to thank everyone else who helped make the production such a success – from the venue staff to our legion of helpful minions, from the festival organisers to every single person who came along to see the show. Without you, The Law Revue would have been either impossible or just not worth it.
Not sure what a Law Revue is, and wish someone would explain it to you in a South African accent? Wish no more.
Do you like Twenty20 Cricket, but find it too long, too complicated, too boring? More importantly, do you wish there were just MORE SIXES? If so, we have the sport for you:
