As part of the Australian Heritage Festival, BottledSnail Productions is proud to be presenting a performed reading of Shakespeare’s Romeo & Juliet in the historic Old Bendigo Law Courts on Saturday, 2 May 2026 at 3pm.

One of Shakespeare's famous tragic love stories, Romeo & Juliet follows the lives of two young lovers in the Italian town of Verona who are born into opposing families, the Capulets and the Montagues. A chain of events depicted in the play lead to tragic consequences for the "star-crossed lovers".
