Habeas Chorus and The Consort of Melbourne - Peace on Earth

Australian music for an ever-changing world.

Habeas Chorus' first concert season for 2017 sees them join forces with Melbourne's premier vocal ensemble, The Consort of Melbourne, for a performance of two very special works. Dan Walker's celebrated Mass of Deliverance is a mass for the modern age; a reflection of not only our suffering, our heartache and loss, but also of the beauty and power of humanity, and our ability to come together to help others in times of need. Habeas Chorus is delighted to present the Melbourne premiere of this stunning work alongside Australian film composer Christopher Gordon's dynamic and uplifting Peace on Earth, and a bracket of beautiful shorter works by The Consort of Melbourne.

Join us at the Collingwood town hall for an afternoon of truly moving music from two of Australia's finest composers.
