On Friday 3 February 2017, the Supreme Court of Victoria observed the 50th anniversary of the hanging of Ronald Ryan. Ryan was the last person in Australia to be hanged upon being convicted of murder.
In partnership with Justice Lasry and the Supreme Court of Victoria, BottledSnail Productions directed a theatrical reenactment of the verdict and sentencing, held in Court 4 of the Supreme Court in front of an audience of 160.
