BOttledsnail presents agatha cHRISTIE’S WITNESS FOR THE PROSECUTION
After a highly successful, sold out season in 2023, BottledSnail Productions will stage an encore season of Agatha Christie’s play Witness for the Prosecution as part of the Victoria Law Foundation’s Law Week in May 2026.
Witness for the Prosecution centres around Leonard Vole, a young man who stands accused of murdering a rich widow. The stakes are high with shocking witness testimony, impassioned outbursts from the dock and a young man’s fight to escape the hangman’s noose.
Generally regarded as one of Christie’s most accomplished plays, this suspenseful thriller keeps audiences guessing until the very end.
This production is proudly supported by Doogue + George (Principal Sponsor), the Victorian Bar and Dever’s List.
