The choir for Melbourne's legal community
Habeas Chorus is an inclusive choir catering to legal professionals and beyond.
We provide an opportunity for individuals of all backgrounds to delve into various musical styles, stretching their abilities, in a welcoming and encouraging environment.
Habeas Chorus also serves as a platform to network and engage with the broader artistic community, with connections and contributions to choral arrangements and guest workshops.
Current project
Habeas Chorus is currently working on a very special project - the Australian premiere of Nils Lindberg’s Requiem.
This collaboration between two BottledSnail projects (Habeas Chorus and the Melbourne Lawyers’ Big Band) will culminate in a performance on Saturday 8 November 2025. We are still seeking additional tenors and basses for this project.
